Exceptional Talent

For established global leaders

You're already recognised internationally as a leader, with a sustained record of high-impact work.

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in your field
  • Recognition in 2+ countries beyond your home country

Exceptional Promise

For early-career rising leaders

  • Demonstrable potential to be a leader in your field
  • Strong trajectory of recent achievement
  • Recognition from peers and senior figures
5 years to ILRIndefinite Leave to Remain after five years on Promise, in any field.
Endorsing bodies

The Home Office doesn't assess your talent. An approved endorsing body does.

Six bodies plus three Arts Council partners, each with its own evidence rules. The right body is the single biggest predictor of success.

Application process

Two distinct stages. Apply together, or lock in endorsement first.

  • Pick the right endorsing body (or two, where dual-eligible)
  • Draft personal statement & coach 3 referees
  • Curate & label up to 10 evidence documents
  • File, manage clarification requests, await decision
  • If refused: Endorsement Review (paper-based, ~28 days)
Stage 02

Visa application

3 wks outside UK · 8 wks inside · from £766 + IHS

After the visa

Settlement, family, switching, mapped from day one.

ILR & British citizenship

  • Coordinated as a single project, not invoiced separately
  • Each dependant pays their own Home Office fee & IHS

  • Innovator Founder → Talent: end renewal burden
  • HPI → Promise: switch before HPI expires
  • Graduate → Promise: PhD-finishers, recent grads
